Step 1: Identify the Symptom
Opaque but Smooth to the Touch
Cause: Loss of shine due to use, old waxes or surface wear.
Solution: Polished or Crystallized. A thermochemical reagent is applied that vitrifies the top layer, returning the mirror effect without altering the thickness.
Deep Scratches or Unevenness
Cause: Impacts, dragging of furniture or aggressive cleaning that has damaged the visible layer.
Solution: Roughing + Progressive Polishing. With diamond discs the surface is leveled, marks are eliminated and the original geometry is restored.
Dull or Crusted Hydraulic Mosaic
Cause: Accumulation of waxes, soaps or dirt embedded in the pores.
Solution: Mild Chemical Stripping + Sealing. The pore is opened, the mineral pigments are nourished and the color layer is sealed without sanding.
